Kids Against Hunger

Kids Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization that provides large quantities of low cost, highly nutritious food to third world countries' children. The food is a specially formulated combination of vitamins, soy, dehydrated vegetables and rice that provides, in one serving, 75% of a child's daily nutritional needs.

If you would like to participate, you will need to collect a $40 sponsorship to pay for the food and shipping costs. The $40 donated will provide 306 meals at .13 per meal. Being a participant also commits you to a 2-hour bagging session. We will have 5 bagging sessions of 200 people each on April 24, 2010 at First Christian Church. Our goal is one semi-truck load of almost 300,000 meals to be sent to Haiti.

27th Annual Men's Resurrection Breakfast

Saturday, April 3, 9:00am

Life Builders is inviting the men of First Christian Church to attend the 27th Annual Men's Resurrection Breakfast. The speaker will be former Cleveland Browns Linebacker, the Honorable Judge Dick Ambrose. Tickets are available at Berean Christian Book Store or by calling 330.477.7271.

  • Location: McKinley Grand Hotel, 320 Market Ave S, Canton Ohio
  • Fee: $15 for adults, $10 for ages 5-10, 4 and under are free 

 

Dover Community Men's Fellowship Breakfast

Dover Community Men's Fellowship of Tuscarawas, Holmes and Carroll Counties have a monthly breakfast.  They are extending an invitation to men in Greater Stark County to attend this event on a monthly basis. The event is FREE to all, a love offering will be taken at the event. No sign-up is required.
