Recovery Group
If you have recurring behavior such as addiction, overeating, control issues, or just want to draw closer to God, come join us as we share and work through the Twelve Steps for Christians. This is an open group. This group meets on Tuesdays at 7:00pm in room 1060.

Abuse
If you are being abused verbally, physically, emotionally or sexually, you need help to escape your abuse. Please call the Crisis Intervention Center in Canton at 330-452-6000 for immediate assistance, 24/7.
Counseling
Pastoral counseling is provided by the ministers of First Christian Church. These appointments can be scheduled directly with a staff pastor by calling 330-456-2600. If you are not sure of which staff pastor might be of most help in your situation, please ask for Pastor Jeff Bullock at 330-456-2600, ext. 2100.
Crisis
If you are facing an immediate crisis situation, please call the Crisis Intervention Center in Canton at 330-452-6000 for immediate assistance, 24/7. Never think your circumstances are beyond hope or help. Our friends at the Crisis Center are there to assist you in working through your crisis.
Death and Funerals
When someone dies in your family, the pastoral staff of First Christian Church wants to help you through your time of grief to a time of healing. Contact Pastor Jeff Bullock, Minister of Membership Care, by emailing jbullock@firstchristian.info or by calling 330-456-2600, ext. 2100. He can schedule a pastoral appointment with you and/or your family to assist you with funeral arrangements, and even arrange the services of one of our pastors for the funeral, memorial or graveside service. Pastor Bullock and our other pastors have worked with all of the fine funeral homes in the area.
Divorce
Has your marriage ended and you feel your world has fallen apart? Counseling might be helpful for you at this time. Pastoral counseling is provided by the ministers of First Christian Church.

Hospitals and Illness
Every individual or family experiences illness from time to time. The pastoral staff and our trained volunteers would gladly visit you or your loved one in the hospital. Just call one of our receptionists at 330-456-2600 to request a hospital visit at one of our excellent area hospitals.
Marriage
Marriages are so important to us. Do you feel like your marriage is struggling and you are in need of some help? Pastoral counseling is provided by the ministers of First Christian Church.

Senior Adults
Have you reached the retirement years? Perhaps you are searching for something significant to do with your life? Many of our senior adults have found opportunities to volunteer either with one of our church programs or in one of the community agencies.

Shut-Ins
Some of our members or friends of members are residents in assisted living, nursing, or rehabilitation facilities. These people enjoy visits from time-to-time from our “I Care” volunteers. If you know of someone who needs a personal visit or a telephone call the church’s receptionist at 330-456-2600.
Suicide
If you are thinking of suicide, please know that you are important to us and your life matters. Seriously. Regardless of what you’re feeling, please know that suicide is not the answer.
