What is Group Life?
It is our desire at First Christian Church that every person would be in a Christ-centered community. It is important that in each person’s journey that there is a time when you move beyond the large worhsip service environment into a smaller environment where you are known, cared for and loved. Group Life provides several different types of small group environments. They are Starting Point, Recovery and Life Groups.
Intentional relationships are key to sustained spiritual growth. That’s why small groups are such an important part of our discipleship strategy. In all the small group environments offered, people study God’s word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where they pray, care for one another, serve together and are missed if they don’t show up.
What is a life group?
A life group is a small group of ten to twelve individuals who meet in someone’s home for fellowship, accountability, Bible study and prayer. Life Groups are encouraged to share stories of life transformation among its members and to serve the community. Currently there are couples, singles, women and mixed Life Groups.
