About
Student ministry at First Christian Church is targeted towards young people ranging from 6th–”13th” grade. Our desire is to guide a body of students into a deeper relationship with Christ; ultimately allowing the Spirit to live in, with, and through them. If you’d like to learn more about FCC’s ministry to students, contact Mike Regimbal at mregimbal@firstchristian.info.
Sunday Mornings
High School
9:00am in the Green Room. Eighth grade through seniors in high school are invited to join the conversation. We will be going through Dave Ramsey’s “foundations” teaching which is a 13 week course on the basics of managing your finances. We believe it is critical for this next generation to understand sound financial principles in order change our culture. This teaching will help to start them in the right direction.
Middle School
11:00am in Green Room. This is a time of large group worship, teaching and smaller discussion groups that will lead students to grow deeper in their relationship with God. We are excited to unroll a reading plan that will continue throughout the school year for our students and revolve around seeing the real Jesus in the gospels. Copies of the reading plan are available here or at the Student Ministry Hub located between the Shine room and the Children’s Check-In Forest. Check it out and join in!
Mid-week High School Gatherings
The Connect Missional Community currently meets on Wednesday nights. This is a setting in which all students in grades 8-13 are welcome to participate. There is a monthly schedule posted at the Student Ministry Hub by the Children’s Forest (click here to follow the blog). This community consists of four major components: worship, community, mission, and fun.

Life Groups for Students
It is our desire to see every student engage in a life group where they will have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with their peers, leaders, and most importantly the risen Christ. Some life groups will be planned and some will happen organically. However they come about it, it is our heart to bring this generation up into personal faith and to allow the opportunity to grow in a similar model that the disciples of Jesus did.
