Large churches can be a little (or a lot) overwhelming at first. We get it, so want to try to set your mind at ease if you’re thinking about visiting First Christian Church. Here are a few things that you might be wondering about.
Saturday at 5pm, Sunday at 9am and Sunday at 11am.
We’ve put together a list of all of the happenings during a weekend at FCC. Take a look and let us know if you have questions. Take a look at places you can visit on Saturdays and Sundays at FCC.
P.S. We’ve also got a list of what happens around here on Wednesday evenings. Take a look.

When we designed the Edgewood Campus, we included plenty of parking with clearly marked entrances to the facilities. When you arrive, you’ll see signs directing you to one of four lots (A, B, C, and D). While all lots offer handicapped parking, Lot C may be particularly helpful to those who have difficulty getting in and out of their vehicle as this lot offers a covered drop off location. If you have special needs, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’ll be happy to help.
Yep. There is. On Sunday morning, Connections Café (located inside First Christian Church) is a hub of action as people stop in for coffee, a fresh donut, or a hot breakfast sandwich. Many stick around after the 10:30am service and enjoy lunch together as well. Connections Café offers a great meal and a casual atmosphere to visit with family and friends. Find out more.
We would love for you and your children to visit us on Sunday. We work hard to provide a safe environment for your child to learn about God. This is why we provide children’s ministry for infants through 5th grade. We know God has a special plan for your child’s life and we want to equip them to discover what that is. Learn more about the Family Ministry.
We do our very best to offer a time of worship that will be meaningful for you and give you a chance to connect with God and connect with others in the FCC community. Just come as you are. You don’t need to wear something special or be a certain way. Just show up and connect. Want to know more about that?
With so many people coming together at one time and in one place to worship, it’s possible that someone could be part of an entire worship service, but never actually meet anyone. That doesn’t sound very good for anyone. To help with that, we’ve got three areas in our main lobby that each have a bright red sofa. At these sofas are trained volunteers who are there to connect with you and to have a real conversation with you about whatever is on your mind. This goes way beyond just getting information. It’s about a real-life interaction that can make a real-life difference. Learn more about the Red Sofas.
Listen, life is tough and we all experience it differently. Sometimes it seems that nothing can go wrong and sometimes it seems that nothing will go our way. We don’t want to be the kind of place that only encourages Christians and helps Christians keep things together. We want to be here for the people that are struggling through life, the people that know they don’t have it all together (who does?) and the people who aren’t even sure there’s something to believe in anyway. We don’t want to put on a flashy show for you. We want to engage this messy life… with you. Really.
