The Great What?
The Great Recovery is about working toward whole life health… health spiritually, health physically, health financially and health personally. “The Great Recovery” was coined by financial genius Dave Ramsey as a movement to recover our economy using the timeless wisdom of the Bible and our grandmothers… one family at a time, through Financial Peace University (FPU). FPU is thirteen weeks of life-changing teaching with practical tools to get anyone on the road to financial freedom. We are excited to be a part of this movement by making FPU available at First Christian Church and are equally excited to join other churches in the Stark County area to enable people to become financially healthy.
But we’re not stopping there. God cares about the whole person, including his or her financial situation. We know there are other areas of life where we need freedom, help, and direction to be healthy and whole people. Starting January 7, we are launching a great recovery in the areas of spirituality, physical health, personal growth and finances. We can’t wait to see how you grow (or shrink) as your life changes over these thirteen weeks of fun and hard work.
